Dr. Ann Warrell graduated from the University of Queensland in 1977. She established Ann Warrell Pathology in 1988, selling it in 1992 to work at John Flynn Hospital. Dr. Warrell obtained her Fellowship of the International Academy of Cytology in 2000 and moved to the northern NSW to QML Pathology Laboratories in Tamworth.
Dr. Warrell commenced working for Pathology North in 2008. Her special interests include fine needle aspirations cytology, gastrointestinal pathology dermatopathology, biochemistry, microbiology and heamatology.

Michelle has worked at Grafton since 2010. Her previous role was a regional manager for a private pathology group for 9 years and, prior to this, a Department Head in Haematology and Transfusion. Michelle is a generalist Scientific Officer with over 30 years experience, however her interest lies in Haematology and Transfusion with a keen interest in leadership, Quality Management and promotion of interdisciplinary approaches to Health Service Teams. She is a member of the North Coast AIMS committee.
Michelle has been involved in the Scientists in Schools Partnership for the past 5 years, currently partnered with South Grafton High school with a view to fostering science interest amongst the next generation.
